Inspiration?

While designing, sometimes you get a sudden spark of creativity, but others it's harder to make what you want (or you were requested to ). In those cases, do you look for inspiration somehow?


Personally, the best way I get inspiration is by drawing sketchs on hand, and then I get more ideas when making it on computer. Though, I usually leave that for the very end (lol) before that, I browse some galleries (but usually leave them as I fear I might end up with a very similar design), then I walk away from the computer, take water or something and then I try again in the computer. If that doesn't work, I'd just start drawing xD

When I make themes I always want to make them awesome like his. But since Im not creative at all it still doesnt work out

Music or people inspire me. Many people are filled with creative ideas and they start blabbing about them, and I start designing in my mind to the point I need to access photoshop quickly.

If I'm severely lacking inspiration, I usually revert to a few daily inspiration posts at abduzeedo. Looking at what others have done/are doing can really help sometimes.
